Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish musician, singer and actress. Corr, along with Caroline Sharon and Jim, made their debut as The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. She was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award in 2005 and is best known for being member of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. She is the lead singer in the band, and performs on a variety of instruments. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea then became an accomplished musician and stage artist. She sang the playback for Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted musician. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums, two live albums, along with one remix. Also, she has received recognition for her charity work. Andrea as well as her partner, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea began her music education by playing the tin flute. Gerry taught her to play piano. Andrea is also a ukulele player. She polished her musical skills during her teenage years. She spent her teenage years working on her musical abilities. Andrea was often a part of the school's plays. She attended Dun Lughaidh Convent.
